Jon sent the kids and I to Utah a week early so that we could enjoy the annual Van de Merwe Family Reunion at East Canyon... we L-O-V-E-D it! The kids were so entertained and the food was YuMMy-licious! Thanks Grandpa for taking us on our once in a lifetime HOT AIR BALLOON ride! Parker was scared to death, clinging to me for dear life and Abby was not quite sure about it but managed to smile and wave!

Oh my goodness! They are very brave to ride in a hot air balloon. There is something about riding in a wicker basket with flames being blown into a balloon that freaks me out. :) Looks like fun.
